When scale has already formed on your RO membranes, you need a cleaner that dissolves it fast — not a preventive chemical. Innova Corporate (India) supplies a Low pH Membrane Cleaner built exactly for this job. It is used by maintenance teams across Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Bathinda to strip away calcium carbonate, iron oxide and metal hydroxide deposits that build up over months of operation.
The formula is acidic by design. It attacks inorganic scale at the surface, breaks it down, and flushes it out during the CIP cycle. Unlike generic acids, this cleaner contains dispersing agents that keep the loosened deposits suspended — so they leave the membrane instead of re-depositing downstream. The result is restored flux, lower differential pressure, and a membrane that behaves like it did when it was new.
How to Use It: Dilute the cleaner with DM water or RO permeate to make a 2–5% v/v working solution. Recirculate it through the membrane bank for 2–4 hours with a 30–60 minute soak in between. After cleaning, flush with permeate until the pH is neutral at both feed and reject. Detailed CIP procedures are provided in the Technical Data Sheet.
Storage & Handling: Keep containers sealed and store in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Wear splash goggles, gloves, and protective clothing during handling. Refer to the MSDS for full safety data.
