Innova Corporate (India) is a trusted manufacturer, supplier and exporter of high-efficacy RO Disinfectant Chemicals in Sri Lanka. Biological fouling and biofilm growth can severely restrict membrane flow and compromise product water quality — and in Sri Lanka's tropical climate, the problem is worse than in most regions. Feed water temperatures hover between 25°C and 32°C for most of the year, which is the ideal range for bacterial, fungal and algal growth inside membrane elements. Apparel units in Biyagama and Katunayake, textile plants across the Gampaha district, tea processing factories in the Central Highlands near Kandy, and potable water plants across the Western Province all face this same microbial pressure. Our specialized non-oxidizing microbiocide is engineered to eliminate a broad spectrum of microorganisms without damaging sensitive membrane structures in Sri Lanka's industrial water plants.
Our RO Disinfectant in Sri Lanka is a safe and powerful solution for the disinfection of Reverse Osmosis systems, including those used for potable water. It targets bacteria, fungi and algae common in Sri Lanka's local water sources, keeping the membrane system free from biological sliming and maintaining peak performance across the year. Because the chemistry is non-oxidizing, it is safe for Polyamide and TFC membranes, unlike chlorine which permanently degrades them on exposure. Plants can therefore replace or simplify their chlorination and dechlorination steps in feed water pre-treatment, reducing chemical handling on site.
Dosage depends on the severity of biological fouling. We recommend two primary methods for Sri Lanka facilities:
*Note: In multi-pass systems, clean each pass individually for the best results. Replace cleaning solutions if they become excessively turbid.*
Safety & Handling: Proper PPE (splash goggles, lab coats, gloves and vapor respirators) must be worn. Store in original containers in a cool, dry place at your Sri Lanka site, away from direct heat or sunlight.
